  1. Victoria Academy of Ballet Summer Dance Intensive for ages 12+ with at least three years of ballet training. No audition required. Classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, pre-pointe/work, character, and conditioning. on July 15th-26th, 2024 from 9am-3pm. For more information: vaballet.ca

  2. Victoria Academy of Ballet Junior Summer Dance Intensive for ages 7-12 must have some previous dance training. No audition required. Classes in ballet, jazz, conditioning, stretching, character, and contemporary. on July 8th-12th, 2024 from 1pm-5pm (Ballet) & August 19th-23rd, 2024 (Jazz & Contemporary). Cost: $425/week.   3. Victoria Academy of Ballet Professional Dance Intensive for ages 12+ for talented, serious, students. Video audition required Classes in ballet, contemporary, repertoire/conditioning, and pointe/variations. on July 29th-August 16th, 2024 from 9:30am-4pm. For more information: vaballet.ca

  4. Victoria Academy of Ballet Storybook Summer Camp for ages 4-6. No audition required and no previous dance training required. Classes in ballet, creative movement, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and musical exploration. on July 8th-12th, 2024 from 9am-12pm. Cost: $225/camp. For more information: vaballet.ca

  5. Harbour Dance Centre Summer Intensive for 4 individual weeks from July 1st-5th & July 8th-12th, 2024 for ages 14 to adult. Classes in ballet, contemporary jazz, lyrical, theatre dance, turns and jumps, and advanced choreography. Cost: $95/wk+GST (1 hour classes), $105/wk+GST (1.25 hour classes) and $115/wk+GST (1.5 hour classes). For more information: harbourdance.com

  6. Harbour Dance Centre Junior Summer Intensive from July 1st-5th & July 8th-12th, 2024 for ages 12-16. Classes in ballet, contemporary jazz, lyrical, theatre dance, turns and jumps, and advanced choreography.   7. Arts Umbrella International Summer Dance Intensive from August 5th-23rd, 2024 for ages 12+ (Academic Grade 8 and up). Full day intensive, three-week program with ballet, pas de deux, pointe, Gaga, modern, Forsythe, improv, contemporary, coaching, and conditioning. Admission by audition only.  Vancouver audition: December 3rd, 2023 (Grade 8-12), February 4th, 2024 (Post-Secondary), & Video Audition (February 18th, 2024).   11. Groove Street Productions Summer Intensive from July 29th-August 2nd, 2024 at 9:30am-3pm. Cost: Varies by 1 day/3day/5day & by level (mini, junior, intermediate, advanced, teacher). 1. CLI Studios offers livestream dance classes for a fee for $199 USD with access to 1000+ live and on-demand classes. Faculty include tWitch, Allison Holker, Delaney Glazer, Brian Friedman, Fatima Robinson, Mia Michaels, Teddy Forance, Tiler Peck, and more. 2. Tiler Peck is a Principal Dancer with the New York City Ballet and has free livestream ballet classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced dancers on her Instagram live @tilerpeck. You can also find some of her past classes on her IGTV on Instagram and also on Broadway on Demand under 'Daily Ballet classes with Tiler Peck' by making a free account.

4. Steezy offers virtual dance classes for a monthly fee of $20/month and a free 7-day trial. They offer classes in urban dance, dance hall, hip hop, whacking, popping, heels, and more, where you can learn moves, skills, and full dance routines. For more information: steezy.co

5. City Dance Corps. offers both free Instagram livestream dance classes @citydancecorps and @cdc_yp, as well as paid virtual dance classes through Zoom in multiple disciplines such as ballet, hip hop, contemporary, tap, jazz, and more. For more information: citydancecorps.com
