One of the best moments I have when baking this bread in particular is when you first take it out of the oven and you are embodied with the cinnamon raisin bread aroma for hours on end! Once you take it out of the pan and cut a slice of it and spread some butter or margarine on top, your mouth will feel like it's in heaven! It is one of the best breads I've ever made and its simplicity makes it quite comparable to making cinnamon buns when you run short on time! If you really like the cinnamon bun taste but only have time to make this delicious cinnamon bread you can easily make a simple vanilla glaze on top that will satisfy both your craving for cinnamon buns and sweet tooth. You can easily make this vanilla glaze by using icing sugar, milk, and vanilla, then mix it together and voila you have your very own vanilla glaze! Another touch you can add with the vanilla glaze is drizzling it on top with either a piping bag, spoon, or ziploc bag if you want to get fancy. Or if you're like my dad you can just spread it on top with knife and pop it in your mouth (hahaha ;)). One of the best parts about making this bread is that for the leftover slices of bread you can heat them up in the microwave for approximately 15-20 seconds and it will taste like it just came out of the oven!
