Chai Cookies!
January 2nd, 2024
Today I decided to make these sugar filled Chai Cookies! What better way to sample them than to have with a cup of tea? Making these was fairly simple and the only alteration I ended up doing was to change the cardamom and allspice substituted with pumpkin pie spice, simply because I didn't have any on hand. One warning is to be careful when making the brown butter, as I ended up burning my hands while putting it in the fridge. So, just make sure to use oven mitts and take your time when transferring the butter to the fridge/freezer. This recipe ended up making 20 cookies and took 12 min to bake at 350F. Overall, this recipe turned out really well and I hope you have a happy holidays :)

Pumpkin White Chocolate Chip Cookies!
January 9th, 2024
Today I decided to make these winter-themed Pumpkin White Chocolate Chip Cookies! Perfect with a cold glass of milk or warm latte! Making these was fairly easy and there weren't many modifications that I needed to make. The recipe made 10 cookies and took about 12min to bake at 350F. I found the batter to be a little soft, however, once baked they do harden due to the sugar coating. Happy winter and have fun baking :)

Strawberry White Chocolate Chip Brownies!
January 16th, 2024
Today I decided to make these delicious Strawberry White Chocolate Chip Brownies! I thought it'd be fun to try a different kind of brownie and add in some white chocolate chips along with diced strawberries. I got the idea from thinking about chocolate covered strawberries as a flavour combination. I also used some of the strawberries to slice into hearts to place on top of the batter before baking. Along with using tin foil to put in the pan before baking. In total, it took approximately 30min to bake at 325F and 15min to bake at 350F. Overall, this recipe turned out fairly well, I hope you enjoyed this review. Happy baking :)

Pumpkin Raisin Pecan Bread!
January 23rd, 2024
Today I decided to make this delicious Pumpkin Raisin Pecan Bread! Perfect with a cold glass of milk or hot cup of tea. This recipe ended up making 2 loaves, but one of mine fell ;(, so I ended up with only one, but there was still plenty of bread to share. I put one of them in a loaf pan and the other in a square pan. The bread was really fluffy and almost like a cake. You could also swap out the raisins for chocolate chips or swap the pecans for walnuts or any other nut that you prefer instead. It took approximately 1hr at 350F to bake. Overall, this recipe turned out fairly well, happy baking :)

Apple Pie Blondies!
January 30th, 2024
Today I decided to make these delicious and fluffy Apple Pie Blondies! These are perfect for the winter blues when it's cold outside and you just want to snuggle up with a warm cup of coffee and dessert. Also, it's great when there aren't as many fruit variety options in the stores. Making this recipe was simple and the main modification that I had to make was to double the recipe, as I used a square pan, so the batter wasn't quite enough to layer in the cinnamon sugar. Also, I would recommend only half the quantity for the cinnamon sugar mixture, as it made quite a bit more than I needed. I also used two small apples for the batter and this seemed to work out quite well, the variety I used were gala apples. Overall, this recipe turned out great and I hope you have fun baking :)
