Today I decided to make this delicious Banana Bread Cake Roll filled with a Cream Cheese Filling and topped with a chocolate sauce drizzle and chopped walnuts! Making this recipe was actually fairly easy and a perfect alternative to your typical banana bread recipe. In terms of alterations, I used 4 ripe bananas to make 1.5 cups of mashed bananas. Also, the cake took about 17 minutes to bake at 375F. As for cooling time it took about 1hr once the cake was rolled and 2hrs to chill in the fridge before adding the chocolate sauce and walnuts. Another modification you could make would be to add cinnamon to the cream cheese filling for a twist or add nuts to the cake roll before rolling it up. As for drizzling the melted chocolate chips, I would recommend adding about 0.5tbsp of shortening to create a glossier finish and to make it easier to drizzle.
