Egg Nog Scones are the perfect pick me up for January blues! Once you take a bite you'll never have to worry about looking for another scone. It's the perfect combination of mixing Christmas holidays with a winter scone. This recipe is perfect as it also made approximately 10-12 round scones or if you like wedges you can make about 6-8 scones by making a 10-inch circular dough and dividing them with a straight edge or knife. However, the wedges do take longer to bake in the oven for about 18min rather than 10-12min. These are great with milk, egg nog, tea, hot chocolate, and more! If you feel really ambitious you can also make a vanilla glaze to go on top with icing sugar, vanilla extract, and water. :) They are absolutely delicious once they come straight out of the oven, and a twist on a classic bakery item like scones, and a classic Christmas holiday drink like egg nog. Bring out the egg nog again and I assure you that you won't be disappointed! :)
