Banana Breakfast Bars!

Writer's picture: Lauren TangLauren Tang

These breakfast bars are a great alternative to granola bars and flapjacks, as they are delicious, nutritious, and great for on-the-go. Although, they may seem soft/ undercooked on the top of the bars, as long as the sides and the bottom of the bars are cooked, then they are still great, as you don't want to have them overcooked! Also, the bananas make them extra soft, and it can be hard to tell when they are soft or undercooked. I would definitely recommend greasing the pan with butter, along with adding your favourite add ins such as chocolate chips, dried fruits like cranberries and apricots, and coconut chips. Try these delicious banana breakfast bars out soon, and be sure to check out the peanut butter icing that goes along with it :)
