Today I decided to mix up a classic and made a variety of 3 different types of mini banana breads. I made 3 chocolate grape, 2 chocolate orange, and 1 coconut dried blueberry chocolate. For the chocolate grape, I added mini chocolate chips and cut up grapes into quarters. As for the chocolate orange, I added mini chocolate chips (Chipit brand) and cut up 1 mandarin with each segment sliced into 2 or 3 pieces. I got my inspiration for this recipe from those chocolate oranges they sell at the store during Christmas time. Fun fact: according to a British professor I had at university, chocolate oranges are a popular Christmas treat in the UK. As for the coconut dried blueberry chocolate, I added mini chocolate chips, dried blueberries (Craisin brand), and sweetened shredded coconut. I know a lot of these combinations may sound weird, but I really like to see what's the craziest combination that I can come up with that will still taste good, in order to make a plain banana recipe exciting. This recipe took 25min in the oven, which is why I love this recipe so much because of how quick it is and it's extremely precise in terms of timing. Overall, this recipe turned out really well and let me know either in the comments down below, on Instagram (@bakingwithlauren), or on Facebook (@bakingwithlauren247 under 'Baking with Lauren') what recipes you'd like to see me cover next.
