Today I decided to make this delicious and super cute Heart-Shaped Strawberry, Apple, and Almond Banana Bread with a Honey Drizzle! To make this, I followed the typical recipe pretty much exact and used about 7 medium sized strawberries cut up in to small pieces along with 1 small apple cut up. As for making the hearts, I used a heart shaped cookie cutter using one apple and about 5 strawberries to get the best-looking hearts. In total I made about 18 apple hearts and 18 strawberry hearts into 6 rows by 6 columns. Once it came out of the oven, I then sprinkled sliced almonds on top, you can also roast them to make it taste even better and to bring out the almond aroma. From there, after it cooled, I then drizzled some honey on top in a horizontal zig-zag fashion. As for the batter, I used ¾ cup of sugar and about 4 ripe medium bananas. I also decided to spice up my photography skills a bit with the help of my cousin Kristen who runs an Instagram account for her two dogs @stewieandpippin (make sure to check it out!). So, for the next few posts, I’ll try my best to make my photos a bit more aesthetically pretty using her tips and see if it works out, I’ll let you know if it does.
