Today I decided to make something a little different and make these delicious Banana Raisin Buns! Generally, I don't make many bread recipes, mainly because I've found them to be a bit more difficult to make. However, during one of those nights when you just can't fall asleep and it's 3am in the morning, naturally you start watching baking videos and voila here is how I found a new recipe to make the following morning!
One of the things I liked about this recipe the most was that it was a whole new twist on a banana bread related recipe and that it was actually as easy as it looked to make. In terms of modifications, there weren't too many, however, I would recommend following the measurements by weight rather than measuring cups for this recipe, as I found it more accurate.
For instance, if I were to use only 2 bananas as per the recipe's instructions then I would've been 90g short, which would've messed with the proportions. In terms of baking time, it took 16 minutes and I thought it turned out really well! One alternative you could make is to substitute the raisins for chocolate chips or any of your favourite dried fruits. Overall, this recipe turned out really well and who knows I might end up finally finding my stride in baking bread! Happy baking :)
