Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookies!

May 8th, 2024

Today I decided to make these delicious Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookies in honour of Sabrina Carpenter's new song 'Espresso.' I thought this was a fun way to incorporate both caffeine and sugar in to one dessert. These cookies taste even better with a glass of milk or cup of espresso. Making them wasn't too difficult and the best part is that you can add your favourite espresso to the cookie mixture. The recipe made 18 cookies in total and took approximately 12 minutes to bake at 350F. Another flavour you could add would be salted caramel chips instead of chocolate chips for a twist. I ended up leaving them to cool on the sheet for about 5-10min before serving, so that the edges would settle. Overall, these cookies were a lot of fun and I guess 'it's that me espresso'. Happy Baking :)

Pear Crumble Muffins!

May 15th, 2024

Today I decided to make these fluffy Pear Crumble Muffins! These are perfect when paired with a cup of hot chocolate or tea. What I love most is how simple they are and how it 'pairs' together a light flavour like pears with a sweet cinnamon crumble. In total, this recipe makes 12 regular sized muffins. You could also add chocolate chips or a chocolate drizzle on top for decadence. There weren't many modifications that I needed to make and they only took about 25min to bake at 375F. I also ended up using two fresh pears and butter for the recipe. Overall, I hope you enjoyed this review. Happy baking :)
