This fluffy strawberry shortcake is the perfect summer dessert! One of my main inspirations for making strawberry shortcakes is my dad, as they are his favourite dessert. The only issue I came across was that when left after a few days, the strawberries began to seep into the cake making it soggy. But if you happen to have enough people to eat it all within the first couple of days this is the perfect summer treat for you! With the multiple layers and decorations that can be made with strawberry shortcakes, it's no wonder they are a favourite summer treat!
