These buttery cupcakes will make you want more after your first bite! They truly capture a perfect cinnamon world for anyone who loves cinnamon buns out there! From the outburst of cinnamon to the fluffy undescribable taste of these Butter Kuchen Cupcakes! Normally Butter Kuchen is made from yeast but thanks to a wonderful cupcake book, "The Cupcake Diaries", by Katherine Kallinis and Sophie Kallinis LaMontague, they have made a delicious and similar version of it! Also Butter Kuchen is normally more bread-like and not quite as sweet, but that's what makes these German Butter Kuchen Cupcakes absolutely delicious! For the cinnamon-sugar topping you can either make your own blend or buy it pre-mixed, although I decided to make my own blend, since I got a great deal on cinnamon at Costco, and we all know how supersized those jars of spices can get! But it was definitely worth it, as my dad always tells me that I bake almost as much as a private home bakery! I hope you enjoy these delicious and cinnamon twist Buttern Kuchen Cupcakes, and are great for brunch, dessert, and an in between snack! Treat yourself today!
