Also Butter Kuchen is normally more bread-like and not quite as sweet, but that's what makes these German Butter Kuchen Cupcakes absolutely delicious! For the cinnamon-sugar topping you can either make your own blend or buy it pre-mixed, although I decided to make my own blend, since I got a great deal on cinnamon at Costco, and we all know how supersized those jars of spices can get! But it was definitely worth it, as my dad always tells me that I bake almost as much as a private home bakery!
