This banana cheesecake with a sour cream frosting and berries adds a whole new meaning to both cheesecake and bananas. As strange as it may sound to have bananas in a cheesecake the bananas actually compliments the cheesecake suprisingly extremely well. There are multiple steps required in making this cheesecake but it's worth it in the end. It has the perfect consistency and doesn't stick to the pan (which is a major plus for me as I notice a lot of cheesecake recipes stick to the pan despite greasing it and using non stick pans). Also by using the sour cream frosting it makes a shiny soft glaze on top that makes it as smooth as an ice rink. On top of that the cheesecake is super fluffy and soft with the perfect consistency that you'll wonder how it's able to stay together because of how creamy it is. Also the homemade pecan crust is to die for it's soft and crunchy at the same time! For the final touches I added berries on top including strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries. It's a great dessert for get togethers at any occasion and it's a dessert that is definitely meant to be seen! Try this recipe out today and you'll fall in love with it!
