Jam Thumbprints are coming your way and they aren't from your kids hands on the jam jar this time- well maybe after eating these cookies they will be! These delicious and soft cookies are better than anyone could ever imagine with the combination of strawberry jam in the middle there's no better sweet cookie around. Don't worry about it being too sweet though because the cookie itself doesn't have as much sugar making the jam compliment the cookie perfectly. You can use any of your favourite jams or even make your very own preserves, I've done so with strawberries before and it turned out terrific. Some flavours of jam that you can try out include bblueberry, cranberry, apricot, pineapple, mango, mulberry, gooseberry, huckleberry, grape, orange, and so much more! To add a finishing touch you can sprinkle on icing sugar with a sifter that adds a little bit of sweetness to these cookies! This recipe makes about 15-18 cookies depending on how big you make them. To make these cookies, I rolled some of the cookie dough in my hands about the size of a golf ball and then once I put it on the greased tray, I made a little depression in the middle of the cookie, so that I could fill it with jam, before it went in the oven. Have fun making these cookies!
