Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies!

February 6th, 2024

Today I decided to make these super cute Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies in preparation for Valentine's Day! I loved how fluffy and soft they turned out and the pink was a great touch :) This recipe made in total 17 regular sized cookies and took approximately 13min to bake at 350F. There weren't too many modifications that I needed to make, however, I did use strawberry jam instead of strawberry extract simply because I didn't have any on hand. What I love about this recipe is how you could substitute the strawberry extract for any other flavour such as raspberry, coconut, lime, lemon, etc. I would also consider adding fresh strawberries to the centre of the cheesecake filling. To match the flavour change you could also change the colour to one of your favourites such as blue, red, purple, or yellow. Overall, I really enjoyed making this recipe and I hope you have fun baking them too :)

Valentine's Day Crumbl Sugar Cookies!

February 13th, 2024

Today I decided to make these super cute Valentine's Day Crumbl Sugar Cookies. I love how festive they are for Valentine's Day and they go with everything pink! For this review I did two separate recipes, as I found the cookie recipe to work out better for the batter in the second one listed below. They were fairly easy to make and I love how you can change the theme based on the colour of the frosting or sprinkles you add. Since it was Valentine's Day I used hearts and silver sprinkles, but you could use different ones depending on the holiday. In total, this recipe made 20 cookies and took approximately 15min to bake at 350F. Overall, I had a lot of fun baking these cookies and I hope you do too. Happy Valentine's Day!

Almond Croissant Cookies!

February 20th, 2024

Today I found this interesting recipe on TikTok and I knew I had to try it! These Almond Croissant Cookies are not only delicious but they really do taste like almond croissants in a cookie format. There weren't many modifications I had to make, but I did use slightly less sliced almonds than required and I ended up baking them for a few extra minutes longer. In total, this recipe made 17 cookies and took about 18min to bake at 350F. Overall, I really enjoyed making them and I hope you have fun trying out this recipe :)

Hot Chocolate Cheesecake Cookies!

February 27th, 2024

Today I decided to try out these fun Hot Chocolate Cheesecake Cookies! I've never seen a combination quite like this one, so I thought why not? Haha. It was a little tricky to combine the cheesecake filling into the dough, as the filling was still a bit soft when I took it out of the freezer, so I would consider putting it in the freezer longer. In total, this recipe made 13 large cookies. Rolling the cookies in sugar really did help to make sure they didn't stick together. The cookies took approximately 18min to bake at 350F. Overall, I would recommend making them, but consider it might be a bit messy in the process. Happy baking :)
