These honey oat and walnut squares are positively delicious! Tons of walnuts and a taste of oats and honey in every bite! This recipe makes up to 20 squares and are great for family gatherings, parties, and get togethers! These squares also are the perfect pick me up for breakfast and as a go to snack! They also have a delicious vanilla icing that makes all the difference! I would definitely recommend making these squares sometime soon and to be creative in the kitchen! You can also substitute the walnuts for any of your favourite nuts inlcuding: cashews, almonds, brazilian nuts, pecans, peanuts, and more! Also you can find creamed honey at most of your local stores including Costco, Thrifty's, Choice's, and more! Make sure to use rolled oats for this recipe as it makes a difference in the overall texture of the cake! If you don't have a jelly roll pan you can always use either a square pan or a long rectangular pan depending on your preference! Have fun baking these squares!

Here is the name of the cookbook, "The Australian Women's Weekly: The Baking Collection". You can find it on Amazon.ca.
