These good old fashioned oatmeal raisin cookies are one of the best cookies you'll ever have! Whenever you think of oatmeal raisin cookies after tasting these ones will be the only ones you'll ever want! Filled with lots of raisins and oats it's a healthier cook that is easy to make with kids! Be aware that these cookies will need to chill in the fridge for half an hour before being put in the oven so make room in your fridge to accomodate this. Also that these cookies should be lightly browned on the edges and should be cooled on the cookie sheets for 5min before being transferred to a wire rack, as they will continue to bake for a few minutes afterwards in the middle. You can also add walnuts or any of your other favourite nuts but I opted not to as I wasn't sure if the people I was serving it to were allergic to nuts, so it's always good to stay on the safe side especially at school! Have fun with these delicious cookies and you'll have around 25-30 medium sized cookies!
