Banana Walnut Cake with Brown Butter Frosting!

Check out this delicious Banana Walnut Cake with Brown Butter Frosting! So delicious and just so good, that you just can't resist! The combination of the bananas, walnuts, and brown butter take this cake to the next level. Full of complementary flavours, it is just perfect with tea, coffee, or milk! It's another way to dress up your banana bread and to also allow more servings, as it's made as a sheet cake rather than in a loaf pan. This cake is super soft and I wouldn't want it any other way. It turned out really well and one of the only modifications that I made was to the frosting, by using only 2 cups of icing sugar rather than 4 cups. Also as a side note, many people out there are confused as to the difference between icing sugar vs. powdered sugar vs confectioner's sugar, and I'll tell you a little secret. They are all the same! Despite what the packaging may tell you, they are the exact same type of sugar with just either a simpler or fancier name, so the next time you have a recipe that calls for one of the types of sugars above, just know that they are all the same, and that you don't have to go out and buy a different kind. It's way simpler this way and a convenient little hack. Also, for the walnut cake I added only walnuts on top of the cake, however, you can also add some into the batter before baking the cake. However, make sure to not add too many walnuts, as this will affect how high the cake rises, and may cause it to sink. And we don't want that, no, we want it to be the fluffiest and most delicious it can possibly be! Anyways, I hope that you enjoy this cake and review, as much as I had fun making it, until next time!
