Have you ever wondered, "How do people make homemade cranberry sauce with whole berries?" Well, I'm here to answer your question because I can tell you that it's super easy and simple to make, that it always makes me confused, as to why more people don't make it! All it is, is cranberries, sugar, and water! Amazing right? Most people think it takes a special machine, or talent, or secret, but in reality the recipe is literally on the back of the bag of the cranberries! The way I found out was actually a few years ago when I thought I'd try something new to add to the Thanksgiving table and I was so happy to discover who easy it is, that now I make it every year for Thanksgiving for the past 4 years!! All you need is a bag of cranberries, 1 cup of sugar, and water for the ingredients. As for the supplies all you'll need is a spatula or wooden spoon, pot, stove, and a timer (you could guess, but I always forget how much time has passed haha). Also, did I mention how fast it takes to make it? Only 15min!!! Also, it's such a standard recipe that you can find it anywhere, and you'll look like a hero when you tell everyone that you made it from scratch instead of buying it in can form! Practically every year, everyone praises me for my hard work, but in reality it's so easy and simple, I wish everyone knew how, so that's why I decided to share with you my little secret! Also, it turns out well every time! The only thing I'd recommend is to watch out for splashing from the popping berries while they boil and to make sure they don't burn the bottom of the pot. But overall, this recipe is awesome and I want to make you feel confident in adding value to your Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner this year or the next, because it's such a useful skill and an easy one to master! If you don't get it the first time, that's okay, because if you're like me and buy the big bag from Costco, you can try and try again :)
