Good Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Raisin Cookies!

Writer's picture: Lauren TangLauren Tang

Who loves oatmeal raisin cookies? A classic cookie that only gets better with this recipe. I've tried a lot of cookie recipes over the years with many of them being oatmeal raisin, but this recipe definitely takes the cake (or should i say cookie haha) for being the best oatmeal raisin cookie recipe! It's soft, it's chewy, and the edges are one of the best parts about the cookie, along with the delicious raisins that burst with flavour! These are great for handing out to your neighbours, friends, and family! This recipe makes approximately 18 cookies per batch, however, I made two batches, and the cookies were about average to medium sized. I think by making the two batches I had approximately 30-35 cookies in total. One of the best parts about making oatmeal raisin cookies are their versatility and childhood memories that are generally associated with them :) If you want to try a new recipe or haven't baked before, check it out this recipe, as I know you'll love it, and will want to make it constantly, especially as a treat for your kids during the winter season!
