Chocolate Crinkle Cookies!

Who loves cookies? Pretty much everyone, am i right? These cookies are awesome because this recipe makes multiple cookies per batch, are great for prepping ahead of time, easy to make, and a great alternative to add to your Christmas cookie rotation. For this recipe, I easily made about 38 cookies. For baking the cookies, I baked them on the second shelf of the oven for about 15-17min despite the recipe calling for 10-12min, however, this depends on your oven, and I would probably put them in fro 12min and then check every 2min with a wooden toothpick to make sure they are cooked through. These cookies are awesome because they look like they've been through a fresh snow fall. For this recipe, I used my Kitchenaid mixer, which was super helpful (still one of my favourite baking tools!). For the cookies, I rolled them in a bowl of powdered sugar, which gave them the amazing "crinkled" effect. They taste great with milk, hot chocolate, or tea! An absolute must for the holiday cookie gift exchange that will be an absolute hit! I recommend using a holiday themed tin or cute cookie bag to decorate. For refrigeration, I refrigerated the cookie dough for 4hrs, and then used a teaspoon/ small spoon to scoop small amounts of the dough into my hand to roll into balls. Overall, this was an amazing recipe, and I highly recommend adding it to your holiday list.
