Who loves shortbread? Chocolate anyone? Caramel? If so, you'll love this super delicious Marbled Millionaire's Shortbread where you get to make your very own caramel as a mix in the middle of the bar similar to a chocolate bar like Mars Bars. Since the shortbread crust will take awhile to bake, I do recommend waiting a bit until you start making the caramel as it will cool fairly fast once prepared. Probably 15-10min until the shortbread is ready is when you should start to make the caramel. As for the chocolate, I recommend using a fairly light milk chocolate (not semi-milk chocolate mainly for decoration purposes, so that the dark chocolate shows off more). However, if you prefer semi-milk chocolate feel free to try it out. Also to get the desired swirl appearance on top, I recommend using a toothpick to get the swirls on top. It takes approximately 1 1/2hrs to 2hrs to cool completely before cutting the shortbread into squares, and I'm sure you'll love it! Have fun baking! :)
