Hey there Baking with Lauren fans, today I have a new recipe that's both a perfect dessert and snack! These Cinnamon Spice Banana Whoopie Pies are super soft and delicious and taste just like Bear Paws :) The Whoopie Pie portion of the recipe is so good that you could also make them by themselves and eat it without the icing, but I do have to say that the icing adds a nice touch. Also, this is the perfect summer dessert because it's practically mess-free and has a refreshing feeling afterwards, as the cream recipe has orange zest in it to top it all off! As for tips for the recipe, I would recommend using either a silicon mat that has circles drawn/printed on already or to use parchment paper and then draw circles on top of the paper using either a cookie cutter or a cup upside down with an edible marker to make sure all of the whoopie pies are the same size. Also, it is very important that you tap the tray to let the whoopie pies settle if the mixture isn't settling the way that you would like it, so that it lays flat. Overall, this recipe turned out great and I would definitely make it again. Hope you enjoyed my review and happy baking! :)
