Today I decided to bake these delicious Banana Fudge Bars with a Brown Butter Vanilla Glaze. Since we had extra bananas lying around the house, I wanted to try to make something different than just banana bread, as you can probably tell by my latest recipe reviews. In terms of alterations, there wasn’t much I needed to change for the main recipe for the bars. As I ended up using 3 medium sized ripe bananas and the rest was as described in the recipe. As for baking, it took about 31min in the oven at 350F to be exact. However, for the glaze it took about 4min to brown the butter over the stove before transferring it to a different bowl. Also, I used 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract since I didn’t have vanilla bean paste. I would also recommend that you either use more confectioners’ sugar than the recommended 1 cup, as I found it to be a bit thin or to use less milk than the recommended ¼ cup. Overall, this recipe turned out really well and I hope you enjoyed this review.
