Today I decided to make Karlie Kloss' Cookies. I had been thinking about making one of her recipes for awhile, as it's always so interesting to see how healthy baking recipes turn out compared to your standard cookie. If you're not familiar with who Karlie Kloss is, she is a supermodel who also modelled for Victoria's Secret, as well as being a Youtuber and had her own show on Freeform. She also has founded the "Kode with Klossy" camp to encourage girls in STEM fields. I had heard about her cookies, from a collaboration she had done with Momofuku Milk Bar, which is a well-known dessert shop. The overall recipe turned out pretty well and I followed it fairly closely. However, the one modification I would say would be the time, as I ended up baking them for 10-12 minutes rather than the recommended 6-8 minutes. The recipe also ended up making 23 cookies rather than 25 cookies and the cookies were a bit soft coming out of the oven. So I would definitely recommend letting them cool after taking them out of the oven for at least 10 minutes, as they crumble otherwise. I ended up using the Enjoy Life brand for the mini vegan (dairy-free) chocolate chips, which turned out pretty well. Since these cookies were healthy, I tried to source as many of the ingredients as organic as possible such as the cinnamon, agave syrup, olive oil, almond flour, vanilla, and oats. This recipe is perfect for those of you who want a healthy treat, as they are vegan, dairy-free, sugar-free (note: there is agave syrup used in place of it), and gluten-free. Overall, I hope you enjoyed this review, and let me know if you'd like to see me review more healthy baking recipes. Happy baking :)
