Today I decided to make these delicious Hilton Doubletree Chocolate Chip Cookies with Walnuts! My dad had sent me the recipe after seeing its it was a huge thing when it was released, as Hilton is known for their cookies they give out during check in. I was pleasantly surprised with how it all turned out, however, there were a few modifications I had to make, which I'll let you know. First, I ended up using best brown sugar instead of light brown sugar since I didn't have on any on hand. I also used an ice-cream scoop to scoop out the dough, however, I found it made only 22 cookies rather than 26 cookies. They also seemed to be slightly larger than the ones shown in the video and it took 35min at 300F rather than 20-23min. I think next time I may try to bake it at 350F or 325F and experiment with that. I ended up needing to use 3 trays to fully use up the dough and to also allow for enough space in between the cookies to rise. I also let them cool on the cookie sheet for about 15-20min before I transferred them to fully cool on the cooling rack. Overall, this recipe turned out really well and it was a fan favourite in the household. I hope you enjoyed this review and let me know what you'd like to see me bake next! Happy baking :)
