Happy Tuesday! Today I decided to make these luxuriously rich Chocolate Banana Cookies! Not only are these a great alternative to using ripe bananas for banana bread, but they're also great for satisfying your sweet tooth. I love how easy these were to make and how soft they were :)
A few modifications, I made included using 2 small ripe bananas to make the recommended 1/2 cup, as well as baking them for 20 minutes. This recipe made 12 large cookies in total, and I reduced the chocolate chips by 1/4 cup and ended up using 3/4 cup instead, so as to not overpower the chocolate flavour.
One thing that I do wish that I had added to this recipe was the flaky sea salt, but since I didn't have any on hand, I omitted it this time around. However, I would highly recommend testing this out for that delicious sweet and salty balance. As for cooling the cookies, I would let them cool for about 15 minutes before serving, as they are a softer cookie texture. Overall, I hope you enjoyed this review and have fun making them! Happy baking :)
