Grinch Sugar Cookies!

Happy holidays! Today I decided to make these cute and sweet Grinch Sugar Cookies in reference to one of my favourite Christmas movies 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. One of my favourite parts about this recipe in particular was how easy it was to make and also the novelty of the fact of making green cookies. How many times can you make green cookies without it being an odd choice besides this and maybe St. Patrick's Day? In terms of modifications, there weren't many I needed to make except baking them for 10-12 minutes, which was probably due to the fact that I made them a bit larger than what it was intended to be in the recipe. Also, before baking the cookies make sure to slightly press down with the edge of your palm on top of the cookies, so that you have space to add a small heart sprinkle to each one. This is done in reference to how small the Grinch's heart is in the beginning of the story, but you could also vary the size of the hearts, if you'd like to show the progression of his heart growing by the end of the story. Overall, this recipe turned out really well and I hope you enjoyed this review and have fun making your own Grinch's at home too :)
