Today I decided to start the Christmas baking festivities and make these delicious Kourambiethes a.k.a. Greek Christmas Cookies. One thing that I loved about this recipe was how few ingredients were required to make them. I also used freshly squeezed orange juice rather than the brandy the recipe called for. As for the icing sugar component, I rolled them in icing sugar and then sprinkled them with it on top using a sifter for the finishing touch. One thing I would be curious about would be adding a filling such as jam or chocolate chips. I also would recommend letting them cool for 10 min before sprinkling them with icing sugar, as they'll melt otherwise. This recipe made 18 small cookies and took 20 min to bake at 350F. Overall, this recipe was super cute to make and reminded me of the snowball cookies or melty moments recipe. Hope you enjoyed this review and happy baking :)
