Levain Bakery Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies!

Today I decided to make these Levain Bakery Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies, as I've heard so much about these cookies over the years. Since traveling is out of the question right now with COVID, I thought I'd try making them at home since it could be awhile until I visit New York again. Also, I remember reading about them in the 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' series third book 'Forever and Always' by Jenny Han, when Lara Jean visits New York on a school trip, and since the third movie will be out on Netflix soon, I thought I'd get ahead of the crowd and make them now. Upon making these cookies, I was really happy with how they turned out, as they are almost like a cake like cookie with so many textures and add-ins. In terms of modifications, I ended up baking them for a total of 11min at 410F and it made 17 cookies, as I opted to make them slightly smaller to make them easier to eat. While I know that the typical Levain Bakery cookie is quite large, I thought by making smaller cookies, it'd be easier to share with everyone. One thing I would definitely make sure to do is to let the cookies cool for at least 10 minutes after you take them out of the oven, as they will break apart otherwise. Overall, I really enjoyed making these cookies and I hope you like them too! Happy baking :)
