Plum Puff Pastry Tarts with Honey and Black Pepper!

Writer's picture: Lauren TangLauren Tang

Today I decided to make these delicious Plum Puff Pastry Tarts drizzled with honey and a sprinkle of black pepper. One of the things I loved most about this recipe was that it was simple to make and required very few ingredients. I also love how fancy these tarts appear and how you can easily switch up what fruit you use for the filling depending on the season. In terms of alterations, I used 1 sheet of puff pastry, but I cut it into 16 pieces, rather than 6. This was mainly because otherwise the tarts would be a bit too big and would be harder to eat. As for defrosting the puff pastry I would recommend letting it sit out on the counter for about 1.5-2hrs before starting to make the filling. In terms of baking time it took approximately 25 minutes at 425F and I would recommend rotating the pan at the half-way mark at around 12 minutes. Overall, this recipe turned out really well and I hope you enjoy making them too! Happy baking and I hope you're all enjoying the fall season :)
