Today I decided to make these delicious Raisin Nut Squares! Perfect with a glass of milk for an afternoon snack. One of my favourite parts about this recipe is how you can easily alter the ingredients to make it as a base for other substitutions. For instance, you could easily swap raisins for any dried fruit such as dried cranberries, apricots, or blueberries or even use fresh fruit for the centre. You could also swap the almonds and pecans for any other nut such as macadamia, pine nut, peanut, etc. The options are endless! This recipe ended up taking 40 minutes and made 16 squares. They are a bit crumbly, so make sure to be careful when putting them on a plate or storing them. Overall, I really enjoyed making this recipe and I hope you do too! Happy baking :)
