Red Velvet Brownies!

Writer's picture: Lauren TangLauren Tang

Today I decided to make these delicious Red Velvet Brownies! Perfect with a cold glass of milk or hot cup of tea :) There weren't many modifications that I needed to make, however, I did opt out of using the extra cup of chocolate chips, as I thought it would be a bit too sweet. I also didn't have any flaky sea salt to add on top of the brownies. However, I did use heart shaped chocolate chips on top once they were out of the oven, which added a cute touch before serving for Valentine's Day. I also added about 1/2 a bottle of red food colouring to the mixture instead of gel food colouring, as I find the consistency is smoother. In terms of baking it took approximately 38min at 355F and for cooling time it took about 15 minutes and made 24 medium sized brownies. Overall, I really enjoyed this recipe and I hope you have fun baking this season :)
